Is a myPilot safe to use with a pacemaker?
myPilot uses low-power, digitally coded transmission to communicate with the hearing instrument. Although unlikely, interference with medical devices such as pacemakers is possible. Interference should not occur with normal use when myPilot remains 10 cm (4") or more from the body. Therefore, it is recommended that pacemaker users do not keep myPilot in a breast pocket.
