Fitting instructions for Digital Wireless Accessories (DWA)
myPilot and iCom are individualized to the specific needs of the hearing system user by grouping them through the fitting software. The desired language, the activated hearing programs, the individual pairing with the hearing system and the manual configurations are available on the devices after the grouping process.
Grouping myPilot or iCom
Within the Phonak fitting software
- Go to the “Digital Wireless Accessories” tab in “End Fitting”
- Click the “+” button to add myPilot or iCom to the hearing system
- Connect myPilot or iCom with a mini-USB cable to your fitting PC. When connecting for the first time to a USB port, myPilot or iCom will be detected, and the USB driver will be installed automatically.
- Click on “Accessory Grouping” to start the grouping wizard. Follow the instructions to complete the grouping process
Click’nTalk and iView – no grouping necessary
For Click’nTalk and iView, no grouping is necessary. They don’t have to be connected through the USB cable.

Recommendation for Click’nTalk and iCom
For best results with iCom and Click’nTalk it is recommended to fine-tune the precalculated EasyBluetooth and EasyAudio programs, as e.g. mobile phones input varies across types and models.
The fitting software also allows you to install the newest available firmware on the device.
Grouping and Selection
“Grouping” is the process to pair and save the accessory to the individual hearing instruments. “Selection” is a simple registration of the accessory within the fitting software. Serial number registration or printing instructions within the Reports section of the fitting software is only possible for selected devices.
