Clients can now self-replace their Lyric hearing aids | Phonak

24/7 invisible hearing experience

Unlike traditional hearing aids, Lyric is placed deep in the ear canal, making it 100% invisible. It requires no maintenance or batteries to change or charge. Thanks to its unique placement, clients can enjoy the benefits of better hearing without anyone ever knowing they’re using a hearing aid. Clients can simply forget they are wearing a hearing aid.

24/7 clear, natural sound

The Lyric deep in the ear canal placement means it takes advantage of the natural benefit of the ear anatomy to provide a clear, natural sound. Studies show that Lyric is rated as sounding natural when compared to the open ear.2

24/7 effortless hearing - all day, every day

Lyric is worn 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for months at a time.3 Your clients can use Lyric during their daily activities, such as showering4, talking on the phone, exercising, using headphones, and even at night while sleeping. Lyric has no batteries to change and requires no maintenance and no daily insertion or removal. Wearing Lyric is so effortless, your clients just might forget they are wearing a hearing aid.

Cut replacement time in half. Self-replacement is an optional procedure for clients to replace Lyric devices on their own. After assessing and training them, you accompany them during the entirety of their subscription, while continuing to check their ears on a regular basis. You then replace their Lyric devices every other time, while still providing a high level of care. The only change with self-replacement is a decrease in the frequency of in-clinic visits. This benefits you both and also frees you up to see additional clients.

24/7 tinnitus relief

Another benefit of wearing Lyric 24/7 is for those clients who have issues with tinnitus. Lyric reduces tinnitus annoyance faster than daily wear hearing aids5*, provides greater relief from tinnitus than daily wear hearing aids6 and improves sleep quality5.

Adding provider value

Lyric helps you differentiate your practice because it is unlike any other hearing aid. The Lyric subscription model delivers a consistent and predictable revenue stream from yearly renewals, while generating more sales opportunities with clients who may not be suitable for Lyric.

Micro-engineering at its best

Controlled by SoundLync™

Every Lyric subscription comes with SoundLync, a magnetic adjustment tool that allows clients to adjust the volume, turn Lyric on and off, and to put it in sleep mode. Lyric can also be removed, if needed, with SoundLync.
