Staefa, Switzerland (June 10, 2015) – Phonak presents the 4th Latin American Pediatric Conference on August 21-22, 2015 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Continuing the tradition of previous international conferences, the event will focus on hearing loss and the special needs of the pediatric population. Leading experts in pediatrics from Latin American and around the world will come together to share knowledge and experience over the course of the two-day event.

Presentations and workshops will be offered on pediatric amplification, fitting considerations and protocols, early communication outcomes, clinical management and rehabilitation services that address children’s and parents’ needs.

Chairpersons of the conference are Beatriz Novaes, Professor at the Department of Speech and Hearing, Catholic University of Sao Paolo, and Adriane Lima Mortari Moret, Professor at the Department of Speech and Hearing Therapy, University of São Paulo, Baurú School of Dentistry (FOB). The speaker set includes renowned pediatric and audiology experts including Dr. Richard Seewald (“Considerations for Developing an Infant Hearing and Communication Development Program”), Dr. Linda Thibodeau (“Benefit and clinical applications of Roger for children”) and Dr. Anne Marie Tharpe (“Keynote: Where We Have Been and Where We Might Go”).
